DHSQUARED INNOVATIONS LLC, St. Louis, MO (2009 - Present)

Startup holding company for United States Patent No.: 8,162,371 B2 & No.: 9,944,214 – CONTRACTOR VEHICLE.

  • Failed to orchestrate a business agreement with “The Shyft Group” (formerly Spartan Motors) in Novi, MI after successfully implementing the commercialization of three (3) patented designed vehicles via Dale’s company Precision Door of St. Louis.

Startup design/build general contracting company serving the residential and commercial markets.

  • Generated $1M in revenue from 2009 to 2012 with net income averaging 25%.
  • Executed several office and warehouse renovations for Service Metal Products.
  • Executed kitchen, bath, basement and remodels for several referral-only residential customers.
  • Company shuttered due to Dale’s move to Montana in 2018.

  • In October 2016, Dale orchestrated a purchase agreement for a 0.45 acre parcel of land located in Valley Park, MO. The sale resulted in a ROI of 500%.
  • In February 2018, Dale orchestrated a purchase agreement for a 55 acre parcel of land located in Franklin County, MO. The sale resulted in a ROI of 36%.
  • In September 2020, Dale orchestrated a purchase agreement for a 10,000 sq ft warehouse located in Valley Park, MO. The sale resulted in a ROI of 65%.

THE GARAGE DESIGN CENTER, St. Louis, MO (2005 - 2013)

Startup company designed to feed off Precision Door of St. Louis consumer base as well as develop its own consumer base through internet marketing and word of mouth. The company provided organization products and services for the consumer industry.

  • Became Whirlpool Gladiator Garageworks distributor for the St. Louis territory in 2005.
  • Generated $2.5M in revenue from 2005 to 2015 with net income averaging 25%.
  • Operated e-commerce website allowing sale and shipment of products throughout the U.S.A.
  • Operated fully interactive showroom from 2009–2013.
  • Closed showroom and shuttered the business due to weak demand and other interests.

Executed a full stock buyout and consulting agreement on March 31, 2016.

  • ROI for just the buyout resulted in a return of 800%.
  • Retained as a consultant to act as Commercial Sales Manager with full P & L responsibility to pursue an untapped market with compensation solely based on % of revenue.

Owner (2003 - 2015)

Acquired a struggling Precision Door Service startup franchise on March 1, 2003.

  • Paid off 7-year SBA loan in 2.5 years.
  • Exceeded previous owners’ 2002 revenue by 100% in 2004, eclipsed $1M in revenue in 2007 with a net income of 18% and $1.5M in 2008 with a net income of 16%.
  • In 2009, promoted existing employee to General Manager so I could pursue other interests.
  • Returned in 2012 when the company barely did $1.2M with a net income of 8% and eliminated the General Manager position.
  • From 2013 to 2015, the company had revenues averaging $1.75M ($1.95M in 2014) with a net income averaging 20%. This was accomplished by implementing aggressive cost cutting measures along with a master marketing plan that included SEO website optimization, direct mail, radio and TV.
  • In 2015, orchestrated an asset stock purchase agreement and two-year employment agreement resulting in my stock percentage being reduced to 33%.
